Job Title: Controls Engineer


Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our team. You will work with PLC systems such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Phoenix, and HMI systems, including Phoenix and others. Your role will involve troubleshooting, control panel management, AutoCAD design, schematic design, circuit design, library building, and documentation.


Responsibilities

  • Design and document electromechanical systems.
  • Update schematics and panel layouts.
  • Document PLC and smart relay programming.
  • Ensure designs are compliant with listing agency requirements.
  • Provide production support using Phoenix control systems.
  • Develop and manage circuits.
  • Engage in 50% research and development and 50% documentation tasks.
  • Sense temperature and pressure in booths using PLCs and smart relays.

Essential Skills

  • 2-3+ years expierence with PLC programming with Allen Bradley or similar system.
  • Experience in controls engineering and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for both 2D and 3D designs.
  • Ability to design schematics and circuits.
  • Skills in building libraries and managing documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working on a manufacturing floor.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical, Inventor, and EPLAN.
