Production Technician – Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire

Shift: Rotating 2-2-3 schedule, 6 AM–6 PM

Pay: $20–$23/hr (DOE)

Start: ASAP

Work Type: On-site, industrial manufacturing environment

About the Role

We’re hiring Production Technicians to support the assembly of large industrial components used in clean‑energy manufacturing. This hands-on role involves using pneumatic and hand tools to install internal fixtures such as platforms, ladders, and lighting assemblies.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble components according to drawings, work instructions, and production specifications
• Perform routine inspections and quality checks
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace
• Operate material-handling equipment (forklift, fork truck, bogies)
• Replenish consumables and verify material availability
• Perform basic equipment maintenance
• Collaborate with Team Leads to prioritize workflow
• Follow all safety and environmental guidelines

Must-Have Skills

• Assembly / production line experience
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• General production experience
• Inspection and quality awareness
• Ability to lift heavy materials

Nice-to-Have Skills

• General labor experience
• Forklift experience
• Quality check experience
• Okay with heavy lifting (50+ lbs)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year in heavy fabrication, assembly, construction, or similar field
• Ability to read production drawings and technical instructions
• English proficiency (read/speak/understand)
• Ability to pass Reading, Math, and Locating Information assessments
• Telescopic loader or Fork Truck certification preferred, not required

Work Environment

• Highly industrial fabrication setting
• Mix of indoor and outdoor work; must be comfortable in all weather
• Small-team structure (2–3 teammates)
• Fast-paced, safety‑focused environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pueblo, CO.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
