Hiring – CNC Machinist – Aerospace Manufacturing

Job Description:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines for precision machining operations
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
  • Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
  • Inspect in‑process and finished parts using precision measuring tools
  • Troubleshoot machining issues in collaboration with your team
  • Follow QMS processes, procedures, and work instructions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑focused work area
  • Set up and run advanced 4‑ and 5‑axis CNC mills
  • Machine tight‑tolerance, complex aerospace components
  • Interpret part programs, blueprints, and 3D CAD/CAM output using GD&T
  • Perform tool selection, in‑process inspections, and adaptive machining adjustments
  • Work closely with engineering and quality teams to meet AS9100 and customer requirements

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, Lathe Machinist, or 5‑Axis Machinist
  • Strong understanding of machining techniques, tooling, and precision measurement
  • High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Experience (Not Required):

  • Aerospace manufacturing experience
  • Experience with Kitamura machines
  • Experience with Integrex or Quikturn CNC lathes
  • 5‑Axis machining experience

Work Environment & Schedule:

Choose a schedule that fits your lifestyle:

  • 4x10 Day Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • 3x12 Weekend Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Wheat Ridge, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
