Shipping & Recieving

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Shipping & Receiving Associate. This role is crucial in ensuring that customer orders are correctly packaged and shipped from our extensive warehouse. Candidates must have a keen eye for detail and be able to efficiently navigate our vast inventory.

• Package orders accurately according to customer specifications.
• Navigate the warehouse to pick products from shelves based on order forms.
• Utilize scales and basic math skills for accurate order processing.
• Lift and handle packages weighing up to 55 pounds.
• Prepare materials for shipment by packing, sealing, labeling, and applying postage.
• Operate power equipment to pick customer orders from assigned locations.

• Proficiency in basic math and computer skills.
• At least 6 months of experience in shipping and inventory management.
• Ability to read and write effectively.

• Previous forklift experience is a plus.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain focus.

The position is located in a large, clean warehouse with a bustling atmosphere. While tasks are completed individually, the collective goal is to achieve daily objectives as a team. The workspace lacks windows, and temperatures can rise during summer months, so candidates should be comfortable with these conditions. The role requires standing for the entire shift and maintaining focus without distractions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Berlin, CT.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
