Job Title: Construction Superintendent
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee all phases of ground-up commercial construction projects. This role is responsible for on-site coordination, scheduling, subcontractor management, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met from groundbreaking to project completion.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily on-site operations and enforce project schedules.
- Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and inspectors.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of experience in commercial ground-up construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software is a plus.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with vertical ground-up construction.
- Experience managing commercial projects valued at over $500,000.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent in commercial construction.
- Experience supervising construction projects.
- Experience with projects over $2 million.
- OSHA 30 certification.
