Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Lead to drive quality assurance initiatives across our applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, with the ability to lead teams, establish QA processes and standards, and develop automation scripts-especially for maintenance activities such as upgrades and deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, including coordination with offshore teams.
• Define and implement QA processes, standards, and best practices across projects.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts (targeting 80% automation coverage for maintenance activities).
• Perform manual testing where necessary to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, DevOps, and product management.
• Conduct testing for SOAP and REST APIs using tools like SOAPUI and Postman.
• Write and execute basic SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
• Ensure quality across CI/CD pipelines using tools like Octopus Deploy, UDeploy, and Jenkins.
• Participate in release planning, deployment support, and post-release validation.
• Drive continuous improvement in QA practices and test coverage.
• Maintain documentation for test plans, test cases, and QA processes.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other engineering focus or equivalent experience.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$130,295.00 - $260,590.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.

Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in manual and automation testing.
- Strong experience in Java, SQL, and automation frameworks/tools.
- Proficient in API testing (SOAP/REST).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, and UDeploy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours during deployments and critical releases.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in the Healthcare domain.
- Experience with IBM Integration Bus and IBM BPM tools.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to understand the big picture and align QA efforts with business goals.
Education
