Position Summary
As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in building and enhancing a new application that powers critical ID card setup and generation capabilities within the Member & Enrollment ecosystem at Aetna Tech.
In this role, you will design, build, test, deploy, and support high-quality software solutions that drive business value, ensure application stability, and deliver exceptional performance at scale. You'll work within an Agile environment and collaborate closely with product owners, business partners, architects, and fellow engineers. We're looking for a developer who brings strong engineering practices, a passion for clean and scalable code, and experience working with healthcare enrollment applications is highly desirable.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$92,700.00 - $203,940.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

Key Responsibilities include:
Write code, develop software components, and implement complex functionalities according to product requirements
Collaborate across a cross-functional development team and stakeholders to make high-level architectural decisions, propose design patterns, and ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of digital solutions
Leverage advanced programming skills to design and implement complex features, optimize performance, and ensure code efficiency
Integrate various software components or systems, ensuring seamless communication and interoperability between different parts of the digital solution
Write and execute comprehensive test cases, conduct code reviews, perform debugging, and troubleshoot issues to ensure the reliability, stability, and high quality of digital solutions
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience developing single page applications (SPA) using React JS or Angular
5+ years of experience developing Java applications using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, building RESTfull API and microservice architecture
5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure, GCP, or other public cloud platforms, including expertise in CI/CD pipelines, Containerization, Kubernetes, DevOps tools and methodologies
5+ years of experience with automation and build technologies such as Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, and related tools
3+ years of experience building, testing, and deploying applications on cloud infrastructure
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience working within Scrum/Agile development environments
2+ years of experience using GitHub Copilot and Cursor for AI-assisted development
Healthcare industry experience
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
