Position Summary

We are looking for a team-oriented technology professional to provide operations support for our Zero Trust data loss prevention (DLP) infrastructure across a large enterprise. As a Senior Security Engineer, you will collaborate with developers, application owners, and security teams to design, implement, and support Zero Trust solutions that protect sensitive data and support enterprise-wide security initiatives.

This role is critical in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our organization's data. The ideal candidate is a strong team player with engineering expertise, automation skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational support for Zero Trust DLP infrastructure across a large enterprise environment.

  • Administer and maintain Zscaler DLP, CASB, and URL filtering solutions to prevent unauthorized data access and exfiltration.

  • Manage and optimize Microsoft Purview DLP policies and configurations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with our data protection strategies and Zero Trust architecture.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve DLP-related issues, including false positives/negatives and detection tuning.

  • Develop and maintain DLP policies, rules, and filters within Zscaler and Microsoft Purview platforms.

  • Respond to security incidents involving data handling violations and perform root cause analysis and remediation.

  • Drive a simplified, consistent user experience across service engagement points.

  • Participate in off-hours deployments and on-call rotation to support night shift operations.


Required Qualifications


  • 5+ years' experience with Zscaler, Microsoft Purview DLP, and CASB technologies.

  • 2 + years' working knowledge of identity and access management, Microsoft Azure, and enterprise security tools such as Splunk, Chronicle, and PING.

  • 2 + years' developing automation workflows using APIs and scripting/programming tools.

  • 2+ years of experience in data protection principles and Zero Trust security models.

  • A bility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, enterprise-scale environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience working with endpoint security tools.

  • 4+ years demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft applications.

  • 4+ years experience with Microsoft Windows and Active Directory.

  • 4+ years experience with development tools, scripting, and automation.

  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).

  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively.


Education

Bachelor degree from accredited university or equivalent work experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$101,970.00 - $203,940.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
