Inventory Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Stocker responsible for loading and unloading products, stocking shelves, maintaining inventory, and preparing orders for pickups. This role requires wrapping and strapping skids, ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.

• Load and unload products efficiently.
• Stock shelves and maintain accurate inventory.
• Pick and prepare orders for pickup.
• Wrap and strap skids securely.
• Participate in full cycle shipping and receiving, picking, packing, and packaging items.
• Operate a forklift or tow motor as needed.

• Must possess a positive attitude, willingness to work hard, and a drive to learn new skills.
• Experience with forklifts or tow motors.
• Comfortable using computers on a daily basis.
• At least 6 to 8 months of well-rounded warehouse experience, including picking, packaging, shipping, and receiving.

• Previous shipping/receiving experience is advantageous.
• Experience with inventory software such as UPS or FedEx is a plus.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Potential to use electric pallet jacks or similar equipment.

Work in a typical warehouse, shipping, and receiving environment. The team includes 5 members in the shipping department and 5 in the warehouse/mechanical assembly department, contributing to a total company size of around 30 people. Employees can expect to wear multiple hats and be part of a dynamic team, with shifts running from 8:15 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Haven, CT.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
