Medical Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join the clinical team of one of the nation’s most respected academic medical institutions. Work Model: 3 Month Contract (Opportunity for permanent conversion offering exceptional long-term benefits)

Pay Rate: $25-27/HR (Based on experience)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7.5-hour shifts within the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. (37.5 hours per week)

Compensation & Benefits: Weekly pay cycle; medical, dental, and vision benefits offered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
• Accurately record patient histories, vital signs, and other clinical data.
• Maintain clean and well-stocked examination rooms and medical instruments.
• Administer medications and injections under provider direction.
• Coordinate patient flow to ensure timely and efficient care delivery.
• Document patient interactions in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Provide patient education and support with empathy and professionalism.
• Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical setting.

Qualifications:

• Permanent conversion qualification: Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required—or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
• Candidates who are not certified or registered will be considered for the duration of contract.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of clinical procedures and medical terminology.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
