About the role:
As a QC Supervisor you will provide direction to the Quality Inspectors daily and implement long-term plans for inspection and development.
You will report to the Quality Assurance Manager and be located at Newington, NH. You will support this role 100% onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure daily inspections direct company schedules to be met.
- Plan inspection requirements for each project.
- Procure tooling for use in inspection.
- Establish and execute a training plan for inspection resources.
- Work with manufacturing, engineering departments, and the QI Lead Planner, to determine inspection priorities.
- Provide a safety-based communication for the inspection department.
- Work within the established QA program to maintain compliance.
- WEC QMS, NQA 1, ASME, ISO
- Participate in corrective action as issue generator, action owner, and investigator.
- Maintain employee time, absence, and performance records.
- Maximize inspection resources to provide coverage of shop priorities.
- Work within teams driving continuous improvement on all fronts.
- Participate in QA Audits, representing the department.
- High school graduate or equivalent plus two (2) years college or technical school or equivalent prefrerred.
- 2+ years of manufacturing QA experience
- Previous qualifications in non-destructive testing with potential to pursue Level III qualifications or dimensional inspection skills are a plus.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite and SAP.
