Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead the implementation of new software technology within the company. This role involves managing timelines, ensuring deadlines are met, and coordinating with department heads and key stakeholders for seamless integration. The ideal candidate will be technology-savvy, with a strong understanding of project management principles. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of new software across the organization.
- Manage project timelines and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
- Collaborate with department heads and key stakeholders to facilitate software integration.
- Hold departments accountable and ensure they meet project goals.
- Correspond with software vendors to customize solutions as needed.
- Guide the project to completion, ensuring at least 25% of the project is completed so far.
Essential Skills
- 10+ years of strong project management experience.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and work across multiple departments such as HR, Finance, Dispatch, and Operations.
- Confidence in communicating with department heads to address any project delays.
- Technical knowledge to work with customizable software solutions.
Work Environment
This is an on-site role, requiring five days of work per week. The position involves close collaboration with various departments. The role offers the opportunity to learn about the aviation industry and potentially transition into a permanent position after the initial project is completed at the end of the year. The work environment is supportive of professional growth and development.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Oxford, CT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52.00 - $72.00/hr.
