Toolmaker Helper

Join a leading company manufacturing parts for the beauty, fragrance, personal care, home, and healthcare markets. We are seeking a dedicated Toolmaker Helper to assist in our production processes.

• Perform cleaning and minor mold repairs on a daily basis.
• Stage tooling for reassembly and assist the mold maker as needed.
• Ensure the cleanliness of all shop equipment and stations.
• Operate machines, hand tools, and power tools efficiently.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble molds with precision.

• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Proficiency in disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling components in various capacities such as automotive or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of general production and cleaning.

• Mechanically inclined with a strong aptitude for learning new skills.

Work in a cleanroom environment that is temperature controlled. Employees are required to wear steel-toed shoes, smocks, hairnets, safety glasses, and earplugs if requested. Our facility features a well-lit, organized, and clean standard manufacturing floor. Work schedules are as follows: 1st shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, 2nd shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, and 3rd shift from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am.

This is a Contract position based out of Thomaston, CT.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
