Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic Primary Care Office. This role is ideal for a dedicated nursing professional with experience and passion for patient care. You will be part of a team providing comprehensive healthcare services in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care and patient education.
• Perform triage and assessment of patient conditions.
• Utilize electronic health records to document patient interactions.
• Conduct EKG and stress tests as required.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, maintaining a positive and dependable attitude.
• Ensure honest communication and speak up if issues arise.

Essential Skills

• Active CT LPN License.
• 1+ years of experience as an LPN.
• Experience with medical terminology and electronic health records.
• Patient care and patient education expertise.
• Ability to perform EKG and stress tests.
• Confidence in nursing skills and ability to work well in a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• EPIC experience is highly preferred.
• 1+ years of experience working in a medical office setting.
• 1+ years of experience in triaging.

Work Environment

The work environment is a busy Primary Care Office where you will work Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 5:00pm. You will be part of a large healthcare team that prides itself on providing excellent patient care across multiple locations in Connecticut and Rhode Island. Dress code and professional attire are expected to maintain a professional setting.
