Job Title: Electronics Technician/Assembler
Job Description
Join our team as an Electronics Technician/Assembler on the 1st shift. This role involves assembling electrical components with a focus on soldering electronic components to panel wiring, soldering and more plus using schematics.
Responsibilities
- Solder electronic components to circuit boards using schematics.
- Wire light fixtures, ensuring the correct wire colors are used for installation.
- Build industrial electrical control panels and light fixtures.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 3 years experience in electrical/electronic control panel building.
- Ability to read and work from schematics.
- Proficiency in wiring, crimping, and troubleshooting electronics.
- Competence in using hand tools such as crimpers, strippers, and meters.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Open to candidates who have completed an electrical tech school program and are eager to learn.
- Experience with control panel wiring and soldering is ideal.

Work Environment
The role is based in a production setting. It is a quiet area where self-motivation is crucial, as you may work independently. The shop consists of 30 people in total, with a close-knit team of 7-8 in similar roles and 2 full-time electrical technicians. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 1st shift, totaling 40 hours per week.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windsor Locks, CT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
