Job Summary
Supports the overall operational flow through the distribution center (DC) by utilizing multiple proprietary software applications, CCTV systems, and visual observations to identify and communicate equipment faults, jams, and other operational issues to DC maintenance, IT, and operations teams. Communicates with DC teams via phone, e-mail, and multi-channel two-way radio systems.
Job Responsibilities
  • Identifies and resolves conveyor/flow problems using Visu and UIW software applications (automation visualization software) and by visual observation.
  • Completes basic checklists, forms, requests for reports, or other related DC documents.
  • Responds promptly and professionally to internal customer needs.
  • Determines response requirements and relative priorities of situations to dispatch maintenance staff, IT and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) engineers in accordance with established procedures.
  • Records details of calls, dispatches, and messages.
  • Enters, updates, and retrieves information from computer-based data systems and communicates details to others as needed.
  • Monitors and responds to phone calls and radio traffic regarding building flow.
  • Communicates through Microsoft Outlook, web-based and job specific software applications.

Basic Qualifications
  • High School diploma/GED and at least 2 years of experience in an IT Support function or logistics and warehouse environment.
  • Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).
  • Willing and able to stand or sit at least 8-12 hours, able to perform tasks which include pushing, pulling, grasping, lifting, and able to carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willing to work a flexible shift, including weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates degree and at least 2 years of experience in logistics/warehouse workflow.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Access and AS/400.

Salary Range: $20.29 - $26.16 / Hourly
