Job Title: Junior Product Manager


Job Description

The Junior Product Manager with a Cloud product focus is responsible for supporting the Product Management team in delivering innovative, user-centric cloud solutions that meet market demands and drive business value. The Junior PM will gain experience in cloud product development, collaborate with different teams, and contribute to the success of cloud-based products. The Jr. PM will work with the other product managers, scrum masters, and engineers to translate use cases and product requirements into engineering requirements. The Jr. PM will ensure consistent project execution discipline and practices, participate in scrum of scrums, and organize follow-up meetings to resolve potential issues. This role aims to improve delivery efficiency and the effectiveness of product launch packages including hardware, software, documentation for the end-user, service, sales, and marketing.


Responsibilities
  • Support the Product Management team in delivering cloud solutions that meet market demands.
  • Collaborate with product managers, scrum masters, and engineers to translate use cases into engineering requirements.
  • Ensure consistent project execution discipline and practices.
  • Participate in scrum of scrums and organize follow-up meetings to resolve issues.
  • Contribute to the success of cloud-based products by improving delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or relevant product management experience.
  • 1-4 years of experience in bringing products to market.
  • Strong system thinking and understanding of cloud components and edge solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to grasp customer needs and translate them to scalable and secure system architectures.
  • Hands-on experience leading teams under Agile methodologies.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Understanding of IT security and data privacy.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, JIRA, and Atlassian tools.
  • Experience with software and hardware development processes.
  • Experience with cloud software technologies.
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills.
Work Environment

The work environment primarily involves sedentary physical work, with occasional lifting of items up to 25 pounds such as laptops and boxes. Frequent walking and standing are required, along with hand/eye coordination to operate computer keyboards and office equipment. Vision is necessary for reading, recording, and interpreting information, while speech communication and hearing are essential for maintaining communication with colleagues and management. These physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.


Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Windsor, Connecticut.


Compensation:$80000
