Job Title: Program Analyst
Job Description
Join an exciting and dynamic work environment in support of the Strategic and Theater Sealift Shipbuilding program PMS 385. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a new program award that is funded for the next five years.
Responsibilities
- Participate in planning efforts and review post-delivery work specifications and ECPS.
- Provide onsite support during planning reviews, shipbuilding production progress conferences (SPPCs), and trials as required.
- Deliver onsite engineering support during post-delivery availabilities.
- Offer technical assessments, evaluations, and advise the government on equipment and system problems during post-delivery tests and trials.
- Resolve HM&E engineering design and technical issues of the HM&E portion of the Post Delivery Work Package.
- Review work items for technical accuracy.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and planning abilities.
- Experience with program analysis and briefing preparation.
- Engineering design review capabilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field.
- 0-5 years of relevant experience in engineering management, production management, or schedule analysis.
- Experience in US Navy programs or operations is preferred.
- Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Work Environment
The position is based onsite at the Washington DC Navy Yard, either on base or at the office just across the street. It offers a collaborative environment where you will work closely with a lead on the program to help with building briefs and gathering data. The role promises growth potential as the company transitions from a small business to a larger entity.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington D.C., DC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
