Job Title: General Production Worker

1st Shift: 6:30 AM-7:00PM ($17.50 an hour)

3rd Shift: 6:30 PM-7:00AM ($18.50 an hour)

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for checking products for quality and ensuring they are properly packaged. You will collaborate with team members to complete tasks and uphold quality standards. Additionally, you may be involved in training new employees, working alongside operators, cleaning equipment, and performing various other tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products for quality assurance.
• Package products efficiently and accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production standards.
• Assist in training new employees.
• Operate and maintain equipment as needed.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Experience in inspection and material handling.
• Proficient in packaging and assembly tasks.
• Strong visual inspection and quality control skills.
• Ability to use a tape measure accurately.
• Capability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable with repetitive motions and standing for long periods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach.
• Comfortable working in excessively noisy environments.
• Willingness to work in inclement weather conditions, including excessive heat or cold.

Work Environment

This position operates solely in a factory setting, requiring long periods of standing and occasional walking within a non-climate-controlled environment. The work schedule is structured in shifts, with the opportunity to work night or day shifts based on your preference. The schedule follows a pattern of 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off, offering every other weekend off (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dover, DE.

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.50/hr.
