Job Description

Join a reputable manufacturing facility as a Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and conduct reactive maintenance during breakdowns to minimize downtime. Your expertise in troubleshooting PLC systems and performing various electrical and mechanical repairs will be essential. Additionally, you will complete daily checklists, perform walk-arounds, and create work orders based on your findings.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Conduct reactive maintenance during equipment breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems and perform electrical and mechanical repairs.
• Complete daily maintenance checklists and perform walk-arounds.
• Create work orders based on maintenance findings.

Essential Skills

• Experience in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency in industrial and electrical maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for PLCs and HMIs.
• 3-5+ years of experience as an electro-mechanical technician.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrical License is highly preferred.
• High mechanical aptitude and experience.
• Welding/Fabrication experience is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a well-organized manufacturing and distribution facility that produces a variety of foam products. While some heat is emitted from industrial ovens and machines, the temperature remains manageable. The facility is undergoing renovations, including updates to the main entrance and bathrooms, with additional projects planned for the upcoming year. The building dates back to the 1970s.

This is a Permanent position based out of Newark, DE.

The pay range for this position is $74880.00 - $81120.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Newark,DE.
