Job Title: Immunology Scientist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented scientist to join our dynamic preclinical research team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the advancement of our early-stage therapeutic pipeline, with the potential to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong scientific foundation, hands-on laboratory expertise, and a passion for innovation in the development of high-quality therapeutics.



Responsibilities

  • Design and execute biologically relevant assays to explore the mechanistic basis of inflammatory diseases.
  • Apply scientific knowledge to support and drive research initiatives.
  • Analyze, interpret, and present complex data sets to inform discovery program decisions.
  • Perform cellular and molecular biology techniques using cutting-edge technologies.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental procedures and results.
  • Communicate findings and their implications effectively to team members and leadership.
  • Collaborate within a high-performing team while developing as an independent contributor.


Essential Skills

  • Experience in Immunology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or a similar discipline.
  • Proficiency in molecular and cellular techniques, including RT-PCR, Western blotting, ELISA, and sterile cell culture.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to scientific rigor and delivering impactful research.


Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with in vivo disease models (rodents).
  • Familiarity with human immunology (innate and adaptive) and/or prior industry experience.
  • Hands-on experience with multiplex protein or RNA-based technologies.
  • Proficiency in multi-color flow cytometry.
  • Enthusiasm for fostering a culture of scientific curiosity and open collaboration.


Work Environment

The position is based onsite, providing an immersive environment for hands-on laboratory work. Candidates should be comfortable with an active lab setting, involving in vivo and in vitro experiments. The role requires proficiency in handling live animals (rodents), including tasks like dosing, developing models, and tissue necropsies.



Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Wilmington, Delaware.

Compensation:$43.27
