Job Description
The Medical Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using radiographic equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. This role ensures high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety, comfort, and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and other radiographic studies, as ordered by a physician.
- Prepare and position patients correctly to obtain accurate diagnostic images.
- Operate radiologic equipment safely and effectively, following established protocols.
- Ensure radiation protection measures are followed to minimize patient, staff, and personal exposure.
- Review images for quality and completeness prior to submission for physician interpretation.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with facility policies.
- Explain procedures to patients and address questions or concerns in a professional manner.
- Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment; report equipment issues as needed.
- Adhere to state and federal regulations, safety guidelines, and infection control standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care.
- Proficiency in X-ray, Imaging, Radiology, MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, and Medical Sonography.
- Licensure in the applicable modalities as required by the State of Florida: ARRT Registered Technologist in any of the therapeutic areas such as Radiography, MRI, Mammography, CT, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or Medical Sonography.
- Graduate of an approved AMA program in two or more of the following modalities: Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Mammography, Non-Invasive Vascular Sonography.
- Experience of one or more years as a technologist in the field.
The position is 100% onsite in a pathology lab located in Coral Gables.

This is a Permanent position based out of Coral Gables, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $104000.00/yr.
