Job Title: CNC Operator

Job Summary:

This role is ideal for entry‑level machinists or recent trade‑school graduates looking to gain hands‑on CNC experience. The CNC Operator will run production on Haas mills (3 units) and an Okuma machine, loading large parts, using an overhead crane, and supporting the machining of rigs used for missile systems. This is a fast‑paced, high‑output environment with long shift hours and no programming responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Haas and Okuma CNC machines to produce components used in missile rig assemblies.
• Load and unload large parts using an overhead crane (parts may require up to a 2‑hour load/setup time).
• Run pre‑programmed jobs — primarily button‑pushing and monitoring; no programming required.
• Follow established machining procedures and quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to company safety protocols.
• Perform basic machine adjustments, tool checks, and routine inspections during long production cycles.
• Monitor machine performance, report issues, and communicate with leads/supervisors as needed.
• Work 12‑hour shifts (4 a.m. start time), following a 4‑days‑on / 4‑days‑off schedule in a non‑A/C environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Crestview, FL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Crestview,FL.
