Join our team as an Insurance Customer Service Representative, where you’ll be the first point of contact for borrowers, insurance agents, and financial institutions seeking support with homeowners insurance servicing.
This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role that requires empathy, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. You’ll receive comprehensive training and support to help you succeed.
🧩 Key Responsibilities
- Handle 35–45 inbound calls per day, assisting with insurance servicing questions.
- Support callers with payment and coverage inquiries related to homeowners insurance.
- Navigate multiple systems to research and document calls accurately.
- Communicate professionally and efficiently via phone and email.
- Ensure all internal and external service standards are consistently met.
- Apply problem-solving skills to resolve issues and provide clear guidance.
🗓️ Schedule & Training
- Training Schedule: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (First 30 days fully on-site)
- Post-Training Schedule: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM (Hybrid eligibility based on performance)
- Important: No time off allowed during the first 6 weeks
✅ What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves:
- 1+ year of recent customer service experience (call center preferred; admin/front desk acceptable)
- Typing speed of 35+ WPM
- Proficiency with Windows PC systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable transportation and active internet connection (for hybrid eligibility)
Nice-to-Haves:
- 2+ years of call center experience
- Background in insurance or mortgage servicing
Disqualifiers:
- No relevant recent experience in call center or admin roles
- No internet connection (unless willing to work fully on-site)
- Poor communication skills or tone
- Need for time off in the first 4 weeks
