Job Description

We are seeking an experienced plumber skilled in underground work, new construction, and fixture installation. The role involves working with cast iron pipes, no hub, and installing drain, waste, and vent systems. Candidates must be proficient in cutting and threading pipes and interpreting blueprints and specifications. Experience in rough-ins and finish/trim-out phases is required. The current project is in the second rough phase, focusing on CPVC, PVC, and water line installation.

Responsibilities

• Work on new construction and renovation for large commercial projects.
• Install domestic water and sanitary systems.
• Install fixtures, hangers, and piping systems.
• Measure, cut, thread, or bend pipes to required angles using appropriate tools.
• Install and repair pipes, fittings, or fixtures for heating, water, or drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience.
• Proficiency with basic hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Experience with CPVC, PVC, cast iron, and copper.
• Skills in brazing and soldering.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical and piping installations.
• Ability to work with PEX and other plumbing materials.

Work Environment

Work will be conducted at a new construction site for a restaurant in Clearwater. Candidates must be comfortable working in various weather conditions alongside other contractors. The schedule includes Monday–Friday shifts, consisting of four 10-hour days and two 8-hour days, with potential for additional work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Myers, FL.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Fort Myers,FL.
