Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full Time Pharmacist for our Pharmacy located in Ft. Myers. This role involves receiving, transcribing, and entering resident prescriptions into our operating systems. Additionally, responsibilities include dispensing medications, filling, packaging, and preparing them for shipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and transcribe resident prescriptions accurately.
• Enter prescriptions into the pharmacy's operating systems.
• Dispense, fill, and package medications.
• Prepare medications for shipment.
• Provide excellent customer service in a healthcare setting.

Essential Skills

• Registered Pharmacist license.
• Experience in customer service within a healthcare or retail pharmacy environment.
• Proficiency in data entry and order entry.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, long-term care pharmacy setting.
• Comfortable with computer systems and data entry tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a long-term care pharmacy.
• Pharmacy Technician license (Cpht) is a plus.
• Strong computer skills.

Work Environment

The work environment is a fast-paced long-term care pharmacy. The schedule varies with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST, including some Saturday shifts, but no Sundays. Candidates must be comfortable working later shifts.
