Job Title: Tax Compliance Project Coordinator


Job Description

The Tax Compliance Team Project Coordinator performs advanced, diversified, and confidential administrative duties requiring broad experience, strong organizational skills, and a deep understanding of company policies and practices. This role supports the tax compliance team by coordinating projects, managing documentation, and facilitating communication across internal and external stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project teams to organize and facilitate meetings, track progress, and ensure deadlines and milestones are met.
  • Handle and maintain accurate records of contracts, invoices, purchase orders, and compliance documents. Ensure accessibility and proper filing for all relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in tracking purchase order budgets and processing invoices to ensure financial accuracy and timely payments.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams. Facilitate the flow of information across all parties involved in the project.
  • Proactively address issues that arise during projects, provide solutions, and escalate concerns to senior management or project managers when necessary.
  • Provide general administrative assistance including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining project records.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to wages and hours worked, ensuring compliance with legal standards and internal policies.
  • Produce and interpret reports addressing reporting issues. Conduct routine assignments and participate in special projects. Recommend enhancements to processes and procedures.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of post-high school academic work and professional experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing presentations and spreadsheet reports.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under general supervision and manage multiple tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment involves a professional office setting where you will collaborate with various teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in using Excel and other reporting tools is essential for managing project-related tasks efficiently.
