Job Requirements

Position: Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities:

• Machine Learning Development: Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to optimize operations and predict patterns.

• Data Analysis: Perform complex data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for efficiency improvements.

• Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.

• Ad-hoc Tasks: Flexibility to handle ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, with a focus on machine learning and predictive analytics.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch). AWS experience is a must-have.

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead data-driven projects.

Preferred Skills:

• Big Data Technologies: Experience with big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, and cloud platforms.

• Visualization Tools: Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

• Project Management: Experience in managing data science projects from inception to deployment.

• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the electric energy industry.

• Generative AI: Proven experience with Generative AI models, including but not limited to GPT, BERT, and DALL-E.
