Job Title: Nuclear Planner Scheduler
Job Description
A Nuclear Scheduler Planner is a critical role responsible for the strategic planning, sequencing, and documentation of maintenance and operational work within a nuclear power plant. This role interfaces with various plant departments to ensure the timely completion of tasks while adhering to safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and operational schedules.
Responsibilities
- Plan and organize preventive and corrective maintenance activities for plant equipment and systems.
- Create clear and concise work instructions sequenced in a logical, efficient manner.
- Ensure work instructions are performed in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Review and interpret Engineering Change implementation requirements.
- Conduct field walkdowns as required to identify and analyze corrective and preventative maintenance, modification, and surveillance activities.
- Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering on work instructions and planning for outages.
Essential Skills
- 1+ years of relevant nuclear outage planning experience.
Work Environment
Work location is Jupiter West. The Planner will primarily plan work for outages but may also be required to plan online and emergent work. The Planner may be asked to plan work for other nuclear facilities.
