Job Title: Maintenance Coordinator – Join Our Growing Team!
Pay Range: $19.77 – $24.77 per hour
Are you organized, proactive, and great at keeping operations running smoothly? Our Distribution Center is looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to support our Maintenance Department and help ensure our facility, equipment, and processes operate at peak performance.
In this role, you’ll be the go‑to person for maintenance purchasing, tracking work orders, keeping inventory flowing, and supporting key administrative functions that keep our DC moving. If you enjoy problem‑solving, working with vendors, and playing a crucial behind‑the‑scenes role in operations—this job is for you!
What You’ll Do
Keep Our Operations Running
- Use our CMMS system to create work orders, run reports, track PM schedules, and ensure maintenance tasks stay on track.
- Help maintain our machinery and equipment by supporting scheduled maintenance and documenting work completed.
Be the Center of Maintenance Communication
- Track monthly and year‑end budgets and share updates with leadership.
- Monitor daily account transactions and notify managers of any overages.
Own Purchasing & Inventory
- Order, receive, and manage parts, materials, and supplies for both the Maintenance department and the Distribution Center.
- Work closely with vendors—requesting quotes, negotiating pricing, and preparing bid documents.
- Track vendor work orders, verify pricing, check deliveries, and ensure invoices are accurate and paid on time.
Support Safety & Compliance
- Maintain MSDS logs per OSHA standards.
- Assist with safety program documentation, equipment tracking (including radios), and repairs.
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and sound judgment.
What You Bring
- High School Diploma/GED plus 2+ years of administrative support experience.
- Strong customer service skills—comfortable supporting both internal teams and external partners.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
- Basic keyboarding skills (30 WPM+).
- Ability to move around the facility and perform tasks involving bending, kneeling, and walking.
Even Better If You Have…
- An Associate’s Degree.
- Experience negotiating vendor prices or contracts.
- Familiarity with Outlook, Windows, and DOS-based systems.
- Basic MS Access experience.
- Knowledge of budgeting or accounting principles.
- Experience tracking departmental spend or inventory.
