Job Description

This is an all-inclusive warehouse role with diverse duties that vary daily. Candidates will engage in activities such as packing, palletizing, order selecting, loading and unloading, lifting, moving materials, stacking, wrapping, and sorting.

Responsibilities

• Select products according to tickets and accurately place them in boxes for shipments, including product labeling and box building.
• Move products and packages throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials and merchandise from trucks, placing them in appropriate locations within the warehouse for storage.
• Ensure orders are packed into appropriate shipping containers for customer delivery.
• Inspect products during packing to ensure there is no damage.
• Stage pallets as needed for shipment.
• Assemble daily shipments by order location and category.
• Perform quality control assessments and stack items safely and securely.

Essential Skills

• Warehouse experience.
• Good attendance and tenure history.
• Experience with forklift operation.
• Packing and inventory management.
• Production, picking, and packaging skills.
• Experience with RF scanners and material handling.
• Proficiency in using pallet jacks and order picking.
• Shipping and receiving expertise.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Cold storage experience is a plus.
• Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks is advantageous.
• Experience working in the food and beverage industry is beneficial.

Work Environment

Work in a cold storage setting with two shift options: 7AM-7PM or 7PM-7AM. The role involves 12-hour shifts with a rotating schedule of four days on and three days off. All candidates will train on the day shift for 1-2 weeks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakeland, FL.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
