PCB Designer – Aerospace & Space Systems

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented PCB Designer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing space-grade printed circuit boards (PCBs) using Altium Designer. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams—including electrical, mechanical, and systems engineers—to deliver high-reliability designs that meet rigorous aerospace and defense standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design complex, multilayer PCBs using Altium Designer, including schematic capture, layout, and library management.
  • Translate electrical schematics into manufacturable PCB layouts in collaboration with electrical engineers.
  • Ensure compliance with IPC standards, signal integrity, EMI/EMC requirements, and thermal management best practices.
  • Generate complete fabrication and assembly documentation (Gerbers, BOMs, pick-and-place files).
  • Conduct Design Rule Checks (DRC) and Electrical Rule Checks (ERC) to ensure design integrity.
  • Support prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting of PCB assemblies.
  • Interface with contract manufacturers to resolve DFM/DFT issues and ensure smooth production.
  • Maintain and update PCB libraries and design documentation for traceability and reuse.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of professional experience
  • Proficiency in PCB design with Altium Designer.
  • Strong understanding of EMI/EMC, impedance control, and high-speed digital design.
  • Experience with aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability industries is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with IPC standards and aerospace-grade design practices.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Education

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Compensation:$40
