Building Maintenance Technician
About the Role:
Join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Technician overseeing two luxury hotel properties in Miami.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee daily maintenance operations across two hotel locations
- Coordinate and supervise outside vendors (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, etc.)
- Inspect contractor work and approve completion based on quality standards
- Troubleshoot guest-related issues (e.g., smart room tech, shades, TVs)
- Communicate effectively with hotel staff and vendors via email, phone, and in person
- Use tablets and digital systems to manage tasks—our hotels are tech-forward!
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years HVAC experience in hotel or apartment building maintenance
- Familiarity with boilers, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building systems
- Strong communication skills (English required; bilingual is a plus!)
- Customer service experience in a guest-facing role
- Comfortable using tablets and digital tools
- EPA Universal or HVAC certification preferred but not required
Not a Fit If You:
- Have no maintenance experience
- Have less than 2 years of HVAC or boiler experience
- Cannot communicate effectively in English
Bonus Points For:
- Prior hotel or apartment complex maintenance experience
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Tech-savvy mindset and proactive problem-solving skills

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
