Job Description

The Project Engineer plays a pivotal role in supporting the design and setup of equipment used in manufacturing, specifically focusing on adhesive blending, coating, and packaging. This position involves preparing reports for capital projects, managing project budgets and timelines, and ensuring all systems for process control and data tracking are in place for successful project execution. The Project Engineer is tasked with delivering projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.


Responsibilities

  • Choose the appropriate equipment for manufacturing processes.
  • Create reports and forecasts for capital projects.
  • Oversee projects to ensure they meet design, safety, budget, and schedule goals.
  • Develop and manage plans and protocols for validating equipment and processes (IQ/OQ/PQ).
  • Align validation activities with project timelines.
  • Write SOPs, maintenance schedules, and calibration programs.
  • Evaluate changes to equipment or facilities and determine if revalidation is needed.
  • Ensure maintenance and operator training is in place.
  • Collaborate with production and R&D teams to plan and execute projects.
  • Support documentation for equipment changes and help create safety and regulatory materials.
  • Assist senior engineers on large projects.
  • Follow company values and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with others to meet project goals.
  • Take on additional tasks as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in Equipment Selection.
  • Proficiency in Validation (IQ/OQ/PQ).
  • Strong Project Management skills.
  • Understanding of GMP and Process Improvement.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Must possess an Engineering Degree.
  • 8+ years of experience in relevant fields.

Work Environment

This is an onsite role, with the majority of time spent on the production floor. The engineer will have their own cubicle in a collaboration area. The role covers four separate manufacturing facilities located within a corporate campus.

Compensation:$57.69
