Job Description
The position involves data collection for assigned research projects, following specific protocol guidelines, and ensuring communication with Principal Investigators, Sub-Investigators, and clinical research support staff. The CRC-II RN advocates for patient welfare while adhering to clinical trial protocols, FDA regulations, and ICH/GCP guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and respectful care to all participants.
- Maintain clinical competencies in physical assessment, phlebotomy, and IV insertion.
- Practice Universal Precautions and abide by HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure clinical spaces are clean and prepared, performing set-up and turnover procedures as needed.
- Participate in training programs to maintain licensure.
- Utilize effective interpersonal communication with healthcare team members, patients, investigators, sponsors, and administration.
- Review informed consent documents with study candidates, ensuring patient rights and safety are prioritized.
- Manage multiple clinical trial protocols, coordinating execution and follow-up independently.
- Document accurately, legibly, and in a timely manner.
- Manage records, study medication, and test articles securely.
- Promote Principal Investigator oversight, advising on deviations, patient status, and trial integrity.
- Coordinate support staff, laboratory technicians, and assistants to ensure protocol adherence.

- Associate degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Current, active State of MI license as a Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
