Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Description

We are an Orlando-based company seeking a Senior Accountant to manage fixed asset work and additional projects as requested by the Controller. This role is vital in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and supporting the company's financial growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage fixed assets and intercompany accounting tasks.
• Add commercial invoices and manage cost of rentals, accessories, and goods sold.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations for fixed assets, prepaid fixed assets, and clearing accounts.
• Handle asset transfers and foreign exchange transactions.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in fixed assets accounting and intercompany transactions.
• Experience with SAGE ERP system.
• Strong skills in asset transfer and foreign exchange.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required or must be very close to obtaining.
• Experience in audit, journal entry, reconciliation, and month-end processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with currency exchange for USA, UK, Canada, and Germany is preferred.
• Familiarity with Thompson Reuters for fixed assets management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, critical thinker with analytical abilities.
• Project management motivation.

Work Environment

The position offers a flexible work environment with a hybrid schedule of four days in the office and one remote day per week, with remote days being flexible. The work setting is casual and drama-free, and the role is based in a cubicle environment. Bonuses are awarded based on KPI execution and performance.
