Pipe Fuse Technician

Description

We are currently seeking a Fuse Technician with experience with HDPE/high density polyethylene pipe to support a landfill site in Orlando. This person will be responsible for a variety of daily tasks, in order to support the repair and installation of landfill gas systems. Responsibility includes various operation, maintenance, inspection, and tasks, including well raising, pipe fusion, reading gas levels with a gas meter (GEM5000 or Envision), inspections, etc.

Will need to be able to walk up and down a landfill site and work outside in the elements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications:

-Pipe fusion, butt fusion etc.

-ISCO or McElroy certification is a plus.

-Must be mechanically inclined and have a technical experience.

-Reliable / on time & dependable

-Previous work experience outside in elements

-Ability to pass MVR

-40-HR HAZWOPER not required, but is a plus.

-0-1 years of experience working as a landfill gas technician is preferred but not required.

-Must be able to handle the outdoor conditions on a very large landfill site.

Work Environment

Monday-Friday onsite at a landfill support landfill gas collection systems. 40+ hours, dayshift.
