Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Test Manager

Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Test Manager, you will lead the quality assurance function across the organization and projects. You will own the development of requirement validation strategies, creation of test plans and test cases for multiple client-facing projects. You will also conduct execution of test plans, perform automated and manual testing, and collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve defects. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help us deliver the best user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the QA function, driving test plan strategy, planning, and execution across projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and enhance client experiences.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Establish and maintain testing frameworks to support software development lifecycles.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in quality assurance, programming, and software testing.
• Strong understanding of software quality assurance methodologies and modern development workflows such as CI/CD.
• Experience in the Training & Simulation or Gaming industries, with a preference for Gaming.
• Ability to conduct both automated and manual testing.
• Capability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• Familiarity with headsets such as Meta Quest, HTC Vive, Magic Leap, and Apple Vision Pro.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a high autonomy startup environment, showcasing adaptability and discipline.
• Enthusiasm for innovation in immersive experiences and a drive to constantly push creative boundaries.
• Experience with Unreal Engine is a huge plus.
• Experience with VR, AR, or XR technologies.

Work Environment

Due to the nature of our work, it is mandatory that you are eligible to obtain a DoD security clearance and able to comply with Government regulations. Our projects involve hands-on work with specialized hardware at our lab, so it's essential that you reside in or near the Orlando, FL area and can commute as needed.
