Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Job Description
Join us as a Full-Time Pharmacy Filling Technician in Orlando, FL. In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring that prescriptions are accurately entered into our operating systems. You will also be responsible for dispensing, filling, packaging, and preparing medication for shipment.
Responsibilities
- Receive, transcribe, and enter resident prescriptions into operating systems.
- Dispense medication accurately.
- Fill and package medications for shipment.
- Prepare medication to be shipped.
Essential Skills
- Registered Pharmacy Technician license.
- Experience in customer service and healthcare.
- Proficiency in data entry and computer skills.
- Knowledge of retail pharmacy and fulfillment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with long-term care settings.
- Ability to intake prescriptions efficiently.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) qualification is a plus.
Work Environment
The work schedule varies, with shifts from Monday to Friday, 1:30-10pm, and a rotating weekend schedule every 4-5 weeks, on Saturday and Sunday from 8:30-5pm. Candidates must be comfortable working later shifts and physically capable of standing for 8-hour periods.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
