Job Title: Pharmacy Fulfillment Specialist

Job Description

Join our team as a Pharmacy Fulfillment Specialist where you will play a crucial role in the medication management of specialty pharmaceuticals and related supplies. This position involves working closely with pharmacists and certified pharmacy technicians in a closed-door pharmacy fulfillment site.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the processing of pharmacy orders, ensuring all necessary items are included and adhere to regulations and company policies.
• Perform drug and supply ordering, and manage inventory effectively.
• Ensure proper storage of drugs and supplies, including the refrigeration of perishable products.
• Monitor and adjust pharmacy equipment as necessary to maintain optimal operation.

Essential Skills

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Pharmacy experience or packing medication experience required.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs throughout the day and remain on feet all day.
• Attention to detail with no room for error.
• Positive attitude and self-motivation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician Certification/Registration preferred but not required.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, order entry, inventory management, and administrative support.
• Opportunity to be cross-trained as a pharmacy technician, with potential for national certification.

Work Environment

This role is based in a closed-door pharmacy fulfillment site with standard hours from 2PM-11PM, Monday through Friday, with optional overtime available on weekends. The environment offers a collaborative experience with rapid hire opportunities and potential for long-term employment.
