Job Description
This role involves building and packing customer orders, supporting final assembly manufacturing, and maintaining accurate inventory in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The position requires frequent standing, material handling, and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed while following established processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
Hours: 7am - 4:30pm M/Fri
Pay: $17/hr
Responsibilities
- Build and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently according to specifications.
- Support final assembly manufacturing by preparing, handling, and organizing parts and materials.
- Perform inventory maintenance, including counting and recording stock to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Conduct accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies promptly.
- Handle materials safely, including lifting items up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Pick and pack orders using established warehouse procedures.
- Assist with warehouse inventory organization and general warehouse packing tasks.
- Operate or assist with forklift operations if qualified and as needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area in the warehouse and manufacturing spaces.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines while working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Essential Skills
- At least 2 years of picking and packing experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to be mechanically inclined in handling tools, parts, or equipment.
- Hands-on experience with inventory control and warehouse inventory processes.
- Ability to perform material handling tasks safely and efficiently.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking, packing, and inventory counts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of forklift experience is a strong plus.
- Previous experience with packaging and order picking in a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse equipment and material handling tools.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability, with a focus on completing tasks accurately and on time.

Work Environment
This role is based in a non-climate-controlled warehouse and manufacturing environment, where temperatures may vary with the seasons. You will spend most of the day on your feet, performing physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials. The work involves standard warehouse and manufacturing equipment, including material handling tools and, where qualified, forklifts. The setting is production-focused and fast-paced, requiring attention to safety procedures and consistent adherence to operational guidelines. Typical attire is practical work clothing suitable for a warehouse and manufacturing floor.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pensacola, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
