Business Lending Specialist (Credit Card Dispute Specialist)

  • Shift - Monday - Friday 0800-1630 EST - 2x week on Site Requirements/8x per month – working 100% onsite is also an option
  • Location – Pensacola
  • Pay - $18
  • Training –
    • 1st week is shadowing, access issues, meet and greets
    • 2nd week is a one-week training (8-4:30 EST) – 100% ON SITE
    • 90-day hands on training
    • Next three months on the floor
  • Time off Policy – NO TIME OFF during the Classroom training, otherwise they can be flexible

 

Some things to highlight about the position -

  • Duration – 6-month contract to hire (potential to extend)
  • Focus on Production, adapting to change, critical thinking and accuracy. 
  • Position has a high focus on production (They have to get through 56 cases per day – they utilize a queue)
  • No phone work - they help member cases and inquiries but do not speak to members directly. If someone loves customer service and working directly with members over the phone, this is not the right opportunity for them.

 

Interview questions:

  • Can you walk me through your experience regarding goals and metrics?
  • Tell me about a time when you had to adapt to change quickly and how did you adjust to that change?
  • Walk me through your experience analyzing data and how you had to make a decision quickly?

 

Job Description:

  • To receive Credit Card Dispute inquiries from members and provide guidance regarding existing claims.
  • Review, research, and resolve new credit card dispute claims through processing chargebacks, pre-arbitration, or pre-compliance cases with other financial institutions through the VISA network.
  • Respond to member inquiries from Contact Center and Branch personnel.
  • Resolve member disputes directly with merchants.
  • Assist members by reviewing and understanding documentation provided by members and merchants regarding contracts, contract estimates and terms and conditions.
  • Remain alert and informed of threats to account security, counterfeit operations, and stolen cards. Resolve basic and routine issues.
  • Works under direct supervision.

 

Qualifications:

Time management skills, able to work independently with little supervision, previous clerical, technical and/or administrative experience, can redirect attention as needed to changing queues, excellent written and verbal, ability to work accurately with numbers.
