About the Role
We’re seeking a dynamic and strategic Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, logistics, and customer service operations. This hands-on role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about optimizing supply chain performance from end to end.
You’ll play a key role in planning, purchasing, logistics, warehousing, and customer service—driving efficiency, cost savings, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Production, Quality, Finance, and Legal teams to align supply chain strategies with business goals.
 - Lead contract negotiations and manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and transportation providers.
 - Monitor and evaluate service provider performance to ensure operational excellence.
 - Oversee procurement of raw materials and packaging, including demand planning and supplier coordination.
 - Conduct pricing negotiations to secure competitive rates and maintain cost efficiency.
 - Track supplier performance with a focus on delivery timelines and pricing accuracy.
 - Manage quarterly cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory of raw materials and finished goods.
 - Coordinate LTL and FTL freight logistics, including international shipments and documentation.
 - Continuously improve logistics networks to enhance reliability, safety, and operational performance.
 - Identify and secure warehousing solutions for raw materials and finished goods across North America.
 - Supervise a customer service representative and oversee the full order-to-cash process.
 - Champion EHS initiatives to ensure a safe and compliant workplace for employees, contractors, and suppliers.
 
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or Business Management.
 - Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management.
 - Strong expertise in demand planning, procurement, and logistics.
 - Proficiency in SAP and ERP systems, inventory and warehouse management.
 - Knowledge of international shipping and import/export documentation.
 - Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite.
 
Preferred:
- Experience with LTL/FTL freight coordination.
 - Proven success in contract negotiations and financial analysis.
 - Supervisory experience in a supply chain or logistics setting.
 - Familiarity with global freight operations.
 - Experience with enterprise systems such as QuickBooks and SAP.
 
Work Environment
This role operates primarily during standard business hours (8 AM–5 PM), with occasional off-hours calls during peak seasons. You’ll be part of a close-knit team including operators, a production manager, a research scientist, and a plant manager. The environment blends office and hands-on floor work, offering a start-up feel with strategic growth opportunities.
