Key Responsibilities Manage project billing in accordance with contract terms, including time & materials, fixed fee, and cost-plus arrangements Set up new projects, budgets, and rate tables in the accounting system Track and reconcile job costs, labor, expenses, and revenue Coordinate with AP/AR on invoice processing, collections, and cash application Prepare and distribute monthly project financial reports, including WIP, unbilled, and profitability analysis Monitor contract compliance, change orders, and budget variances Support month-end close activities related to projects Assist Project Managers with financial questions, forecasting, and audit requests Maintain accurate project documentation and financial records

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2–5+ years of experience in project accounting, construction accounting, or professional services Strong understanding of billing, job costing, and revenue recognition Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP); ERP experience a plus (Oracle, Deltek, NetSuite, etc.) Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills Ability to work independently while supporting multiple projects simultaneously Strong communication skills and comfort partnering with non-finance stakeholders

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plantation, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00/hr.
