Job Description

This is an all-inclusive warehouse role with multiple duties that vary depending on the day. Responsibilities include packing, palletizing, order selecting, loading and unloading, lifting, moving materials, stacking, wrapping, and sorting. The position requires working 12-hour shifts with two available schedules: 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM, with a rotating schedule that allows for a balanced work-life arrangement. All candidates will train on the day shift for 1-2 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Select products according to tickets and accurately place them in boxes for shipment, including product labeling and box building.
• Move products and packages throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials and merchandise from trucks and place them in the appropriate storage locations within the warehouse.
• Ensure orders are packed into appropriate shipping containers for customer delivery.
• Inspect products during packing to ensure there is no damage.
• Stage pallets as needed for shipment.
• Assemble daily shipments by order location and category.
• Perform quality control assessments and stack items safely and securely.

Essential Skills

• Must have experience with reach truck operation.
• Physically demanding tasks such as bending, lifting, walking, and carrying.
• Good attendance and a stable work history.
• Experience with forklifts, packing, inventory, production, picking, packaging, RF scanners, material handling, pallet jacks, order picking, unloading, shipping and receiving, and warehouse inventory.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Cold storage experience is a plus.
• Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks is a plus.
• Experience working in the food and beverage industry would be beneficial.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Polk City, FL.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
