AEROTEK IS HIRING A 1st and 2nd SHIFT QUALITY INSPECTOR IN New Port Richey, FL!
Responsibilities
- Perform general floor inspections on production parts throughout the manufacturing process.
- Conduct visual inspections to identify defects, nonconformities, or cosmetic issues on parts.
- Use precision inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, micro gauges, and hand gauges to verify part dimensions.
- Complete first piece, first article, and last piece inspections to validate production runs against specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine required dimensions, tolerances, and inspection criteria.
- Document inspection results accurately and clearly, following established quality procedures.
- Identify and report nonconforming parts or conditions to appropriate personnel.
- Work closely with production staff to support quality standards on the manufacturing floor.
- Maintain inspection tools and equipment in good working condition and use them safely.
- Support inspection activities related to injection molded components as needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Plastic injection molding experience is a plus.
- Experience inspecting injection molded components is beneficial.
- Familiarity with general quality inspection practices in an open shop environment.
- Ability to adapt to working around machinery while maintaining focus on quality.
- Strong communication skills to clearly report inspection findings.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Port Richey, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
