Electrical Assembler – Job Description

Position Overview

The Electrical Assembler plays a key role in building industrial filling and depositing equipment. Responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings, assembling components, performing electrical wiring, and ensuring equipment meets quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical & Wiring Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
  • Connect wiring, circuitry, and tubing per specifications.
  • Perform basic calibration, alignment, and functional electrical testing on completed assemblies.
  • Inspect electrical work for defects and make necessary adjustments.

Mechanical Assembly

  • Assemble and fasten parts using screws, bolts, rivets, and sealants.
  • Use hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches) and power tools (drills, saws).
  • Connect mechanical components and support full machine assembly tasks.

Quality Assurance & Documentation

  • Inspect assemblies for defects or improper function.
  • Document assembly steps, productivity, and issues accurately.

Workplace Standards & Collaboration

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company safety procedures.
  • Assist other departments as needed and participate in cross‑functional tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of shop measurement and basic documentation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, sit, stand, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sarasota, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
