⭐ What You’ll Do

• Install, assemble, and secure commercial HVAC duct systems (rectangular, spiral, and specialty).
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and mechanical plans.
• Fabricate fittings, transitions, and custom components using shop tools and equipment.
• Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal with accuracy and efficiency.
• Install hangers, supports, dampers, and accessories according to code and spec.
• Collaborate with foremen and project teams to keep jobs on schedule.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.

⭐ What You Bring

• Proven experience as a commercial sheet metal mechanic.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, duct fabrication, and installation methods.
• Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and in mechanical rooms or tight spaces.
• Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.
• Commitment to safety, craftsmanship, and doing the job right the first time.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tallahassee, FL.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
