Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Geotechnical Engineer to uphold consistent quality standards in project and proposal delivery. As a fully competent engineering professional, you will manage detailed phases of moderately sized and complex projects, independently performing a variety of tasks or selected segments of larger projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work.
• Work closely with senior-level project managers to gain additional project management experience for more complex and larger projects.
• Make design, engineering, and construction recommendations, adaptations, and modifications.
• Prepare proposals and reports for projects of varying complexity.
• Perform quality control review of proposals written by others.
• Evaluate complex laboratory and field data for inclusion in reports.
• Serve as a technical adviser to junior-level project team members.
• Interact directly with clients and project teams to develop scopes of services, communicate project progress, and provide findings and recommendations.
• Write and prepare routine and complex engineering reports detailing services provided, findings, and recommendations.
• Participate in marketing, sales, and business development activities.
• Supervise graduate, field, and project engineering staff.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Geotechnical Engineering and Civil Engineering.
• Experience with geotechnical project management (Geotechnical PM).
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and standards.
• Experience in transportation, civil, concrete, and roadway projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 0 - 5 years of relevant experience in the field.
