Job Title: Entry Level Civil or Environmental Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized and adept at managing multiple priorities within a diverse team setting.
Responsibilities
- Support the Municipal Design Discipline Team in delivering engineering solutions for water and wastewater projects, including treatment facilities, pipelines, rehabilitation efforts, and pump stations for municipal clients.
- Assist in the development of engineering designs, including the preparation of reports, construction drawings, specifications, and technical calculations.
- Participate in early-stage project activities such as feasibility studies, data analysis, and evaluation of design alternatives.
- Produce technical memoranda, reports, and digital deliverables to support project documentation.
- Conduct field inspections to verify compliance with design plans and specifications during construction phases.
- Perform site investigations and other fieldwork as needed to inform project design and execution.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers and designers.
- Coordinate with various engineering disciplines and consultants, including process-mechanical, geotechnical, architectural, instrumentation, and electrical teams.
- Work full-time (40 hours per week) on-site at our Tampa office.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in design and engineering, particularly in civil and environmental engineering.
- Knowledge of pipeline design, pumping systems, and pipe flow.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Willingness to work in the field.
